St. Catherine’s Athletic Program offers many opportunities
for its students to complete against other schools and organized teams
throughout the area. Games / meets are played at St. Catherine and other
Catholic schools as part of the Tri-Country Conference. Several non-conference
games / meets are also scheduled and are played either at St. Catherine or at
the opponent’s gymnasium. Generally, students in 5th through 8th grades may
participate. No prior experience is required. A good pair of athletic shoes is
recommended for all activities. Sports physicals are required for all athletes. |
| At St. Catherine, we
emphasize good sportsmanship and hard work in the fundamentals of each
sport. All Participants, in addition to being enrolled in an eligible
grade, must also maintain high standards of academic performance, effort
and conduct in order to remain eligible to participate in athletic
programs. We think our Athletic Program provides our students with a
wonderful opportunity to learn new skills, form strong friendships,
increase self-esteem and develop respect for others. |
