The following is a list of the upcoming events of the
year. Thank you to all the individuals who have graciously accepted the duties
of chairpersons. Without your dedication and hard work on each of these events,
they would not be possible. Any chairperson positions not filled in the prior
spring will be filled at the Initial Home & School Meeting in August. All
parents are welcome to volunteer.

Magazine Drive
The QSP Magazine Drive generates approximately $15,000 in
revenue and is one of the largest fundraisers of the school year. Questions
regarding subscription deliveries may be directed to the QSP Customer Service
Number at 800-678-2673. The 3rd and 4th Grade classes
chair this project annually.

| Irish Fest Booth
As
a part of the St. Catherine of Siena Parish Irish Festival, the Home & School
Association will be running a booth of family friendly memorabilia and goodies.
Face painting and hair coloring is available.

Irish Jig Jog
As
a part of the St. Catherine of Siena Parish Irish Festival, St. Catherine School
hosts a 5K, 10K and 1 Mile Fun Run. The 1st and 5th Grade classes
chair this project.

| Family Fun Night
Family Fun Night is the project of the Pre-K and Second Grade
classes. The sponsoring classes choose the theme of this event. School families
are encouraged to attend this night of fun. Everyone is invited to come in
costume. There are games for all ages. There is no charge for the event.

Teacher Conference
Luncheon
The First Grade class hosts a casual luncheon for our teachers
in the Community Room. This luncheon is intended to give our teachers a much
needed break during conferences.

| Book Fair
The Book Fair will contain displays including Scholastic
books, CD ROM’s and VHS tapes for you and your children. The books will be
offered after masses on Saturday and Sunday, as well as during our Teachers
Conferences. There will be age appropriate books for Pre-K through 8th
Grade. You will also have the opportunity to purchase books designated by the
faculty for use in the classrooms.

| Annual Christmas
Program The student body will perform in its annual Christmas Program
directed by Mr. Daniel Bernhard. Students and their families are welcome to join
in on refreshments and cookies after our program.

Breakfast with
Baby Jesus Each year our Kindergarten class hosts the annual Breakfast
with Baby Jesus event for St. Catherine’s school and parish families. Tickets
for this annual event must be purchased through the school office in advance. A
continental breakfast is served.

| Academic Fair The
Academic Fair will be the project of the Fifth Grade parents. The Academic Fair
includes Science Fair Projects, History Fair Projects, Young Author's Books and
the display of classroom projects and projects. Family and friends are
invited to attend the Open House. This event will take place on Monday,
March 16, 2004.

Teacher &
Staff Appreciation Week Teacher Appreciation week is held each year to express our
gratitude to the teachers and staff of St. Catherine’s for their dedication
and all they do for our children. Each day the teachers are presented with
various gifts and baked goods. The week concludes with a Mass celebrating our
teachers. Teacher Appreciation Week is the project of the Sixth Grade class.

| Graduation
Reception This year’s Graduation Reception to honor the 8th
grade graduates will be held in our school gym immediately following the
Graduation mass. Our Seventh Grade class will offer light refreshments for the
graduates and their families and guests.

| Used Uniform
Exchange and Sale Our Annual Uniform Exchange is offered as a courtesy to our
St. Catherine families as a way to sell/purchase gently used uniforms at a
reduced price. Funds generated for this sale are returned to those families
selling the uniforms.
