SCS Veterans Day
Video 2023At St. Catherine of Siena School, we are so thrilled to celebrate Veteran's Day each year. Our students love to honor our veterans and throughout this past week, we celebrated these brave men and women in many ways. Our school children made cards, banners, posters, and crafts. The students watched videos, read books, prayed for our veterans, and even made a special video to commemorate our American heroes.

Pope Francis has said, "The best way to educate our children in the faith is to model prayer and virtue for them." While doing this, we hope to help mold children of excellent character with an emphasis on fostering a strong moral compass!
St. Catherine of Siena School is excited to share the Character Counts program with our students. The mission of this program is to integrate the language of Character Counts into all parts of daily life at school and beyond. We have tailored the program to fit our SCS mission, weaving in connections to scripture and our Catholic faith. There are six pillars of character that we will focus on each year.
